I have to admit - I nearly gave up blogging...
We've moved now and are back on line so I've revised the format a little and hope to start posting a few articles soon.
I just want to say a big thank you to all our friends and family who have been praying for us lately. We've truly been blessed in the move to Cardiff. Even though the house sale hasn't yet gone through we're blessed. We've learned that God is our source - not the property market or any other market for that matter. We've seen God do financial miracles and 'we shall not lack' .
Praise God for his faithfulness - he's a good God!
So here we are again! Praise God the cars all loaded up, the kids have got absolutely no room at all and my boot looks like a Millets sale! You've got to love Bible Week. By the way 'Days of Elijah' is a declaration of faith - just as Elijah prophesied it wouldn't rain for three years....well you get the idea.
But we're looking forward to hearing from God this year and making the most of this opportunity to soak up Gods word and fellowship with his people.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Sorry for the lack of blogs lately - no excuses really just very busy.
Thanks to everyone who has encouraged us lately. I'm blogging this post to ask for your prayers as we've hit a 'glitch' with the sale. Our buyers are still really keen but their buyer pulled out....
God is good and you can't spell testimony without a test!
We appreciate your prayers at this time
Blessings
John & Carolyn
Paul describes a wonderful process in this verse from Ephesians. He explains that God "by revelation made known unto me the mystery". I love to be around people of revelation. People who live according to the revelation of Gods word. People like this are often people who live according to a personal revelation of what God has called them to do and be. These people are secure, aware, peaceful and confident.
There's three core elements to what Paul is saying here. He says there are mysteries, but they become knowledge through the process of revelation. God is still causing mysteries to become knowledge through this process. Jeremiah 33:3 says " Ask me and I will tell you some remarkable secrets" (NLT).
I believe we are living in momentous days, we're living in a dispensation of revelation. Everywhere I go I hear Gods people talking about the days to come. There's an expectation in the body of Christ for a Holy Spirit awakening to be out-poured on the UK. In order to recognise it when it begins we need to be a people practising the process of and living in, the fullness of revelation.
